Don’t step floors

We walked up to the house last night on the way home from work and were greeted by a lovely hand-written sign taped to the front door that let us know that the floors had indeed been stained:

So we didn’t. Don’t worry. We did swing open the door though and crane our necks to try to see into the living room from the porch.  I think the gray stain looks awesome.
